2025/2026 Graeme Samuel Dementia Research Award Qualification

The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Graeme Samuel Dementia Research Award at the Australian National University:

  • The scholarship is available to local and international students.
  • Applicants must be enrolled at the Australian National University for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in dementia prevention research on a full-time study program based in the Centre for Research on Ageing, ANU College of Health and Medicine, the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health, Health & Wellbeing (CRAHW).

2025/2026 Graeme Samuel Dementia Research Award Application process

In order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Graeme Samuel Dementia Research Award at the Australian National University:

  • Applicants must provide their CV.
  • Applicants will be required to provide a personal statement of maximum 250 words with details on how your research will contribute to dementia prevention, how your research will contribute to decreasing the burden of disease, why you are well suited to undertake research in this area.
  • Applicants must submit their complete applications should be submitted to Professor Nic Cherbuin email nicolas.cherbuin@anu.edu.au.
