The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Dr David Perel Medical Scholarship at the University of Queensland:
- Applicants must be enrolled for the Doctor of Medicine on a full-time in year 1.
- Applicants must demonstrate their financial hardship.
- Applicants must not hold another scholarship that might be considered similar by the Dean.
2025/2026 Dr David Perel Medical Scholarship Application process
In order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Dr David Perel Medical Scholarship at the University of Queensland:
- Applicants must provide a personal statement of not more than 250 words with details on their financial need, attempts to overcome their difficulties, and their circumstances and background.
- Applicants must have good academic achievements with good grades to undertake Doctor of Medicine program.
- Applicants must give details on how the scholarship can assist them in completing their Doctor of Medicine.
