The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2026/2027 Butler Scholarship:

- The scholarship is for undergraduate students and high school students that have graduated in the last 3 years.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades, including ACT, SAT, GED scores.
- It is essential for students to have no college attendance after high school and students seeking associate degree are ineligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Applicants must maintain at least 12 credit hours per semester and meet the eligibility GPA requirements to retain the scholarship.
