The following requirements must be met by the applicants to be eligible for the 2026/2027 Twenty Pearls Foundation Scholarship:

- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades.
- It is essential for applicants to be applicants to be an undergraduate student at University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, for the next school year and current active, faithful and dedicated member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Soroity, Inc. at Gamma Chapter.
- Applicants must be enrolled or plan to attend an accredited college or university to be eligible for the scholarship award.
