The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 International Excellence Scholarship at the University of Newcastle:
- Applicants must a full-fee paying international student.
- Applicants must be enrolled at the University in an eligible CRICOS-registered undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree.
- Applicants must not hold any other scholarship at the University unless prior approval for special dispensation has been obtained from the university.
- Applicants must be able to meet the specified financial obligation by the Australian Government for a full-fee paying international student.
- Applicants must be able to provide evidence of the financial obligation if requested by the university.
