2025/2026 Pacific Health Scholarships Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Pacific Health Scholarships:
- The scholarship application is open to Pacific Islands descent, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades.
- Applicants must be enrolled or plan to attend an approved NZQA accredited tertiary provider and studying a health or disability-related course in New Zealand.
- Applicants who qualify for the fees free scheme are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Candidate who have been awarded another scholarship with a total of $2,500 or more for the same academic year (excluding medical or dental student) are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Candidate who are awarded any other scholarship or a medical or dental student studying a Bachelor of Dental Surgery or a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Applicants who are medical students in their 6th year are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- PhD students whose frontline workforce takes priority are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
