Qualification

The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Pacific Trade and Development (PAFTAD) Scholarship:

Applicants must be a continuing or prospective student at the Australian National University.
Applicants can either be a local or international student.
Applicants must be enrolled or enrolling at the Australian National University either on a postgraduate research degree or postgraduate coursework.
Applicants must show research interest in the Asia Pacific region in economics or political economy studies.
Applicants must have outstanding academic performance and good grades.
Applicants will be required to do some research duties and administrating the PAFTAD Conference series of 10 hours per week.
