2025/2026 Eisenhower Fellowship Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Eisenhower Fellowship:
- The scholarship application is open to all applicants who have citizenship and current residence for at least 5 years in the country that they are applying to represent on fellowship.
- Applicants who reside in the United States are not eligible to apply for the international programs.
- Applicants who are not citizen or reside in a country where the fellowship is currently active will demonstrate that their work has regional impact and obtain a letter of recommendation from a member of the EF global network in order to be considered.
- The age requirements for the scholarship are between 32 and 45 years at the time of the program also applicants who are slightly above or below will be considered for the fellowship if they exhibit the criteria.
- Applicants must have a strong proficiency in the English Language is required.
- Qualified applicants will need approval from their workplace to go on leave and make a full-time commitment for the duration of the program when accepted.
- Children are not permitted on fellowship under any circumstances also applicants who have had any fellowship with the last two years will not be considered.
- Applicants must not use the fellowship to make business deals, seek help to fund their projects or any sort of financial support.
- The use of generative AI/ChatGPT in writing of any essay portion of the fellowship is prohibited.
