2025/2026 Australia Awards Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Australia Awards Scholarship:
- The scholarship application is open to international students who are not Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades.
- It is essential for applicants to meet all the admission requirements and accept their admission offer to commence a new program of study in 2025 for the first time.
- Applicants who study abroad or an exchange student coming to the university is not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Applicants who are applied for a scholarship for their existing program of study and currently enrolled at Western Sydney University are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Applicants who do not commence study in the session and year indicated in their offer are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Applicants whose application is incomplete or accept a study program located at Sydney City campus are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Applicants applying for a postgraduate study program that is less than a year and study less or 80 credit points to complete the program are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Applicants enrolling for a higher degree research program or have been awarded another scholarship by the university or another organization that covers the tuition fees either fully or partially to study at Western Sydney University are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
