2025/2026 David M. Rubenstein Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 David M. Rubenstein Scholarship:
- The scholarship application is open to U.S. citizen students or lawful permanent resident student.
- Applicants must attend one of the following high schools in Washington, D.C.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades, with a minimum GPA of 2.5 score or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Applicants must be a graduating senior enrolled full time as a high school student participating in DC high school.
- Applicants must be enrolled or plan to attend a college or university anywhere in the country as a full-time student in the Fall following completion of high school and must have graduate from high school with their class in June.
- Applicants must provide their completed FAFSA form including transcript such as AP/IB courses, honors courses or college preparedness courses.
- Applicants must demonstrate their leadership skills, interest, extracurricular activities, and community services.
- Applicants are not eligible to apply for the scholarship if they have received full scholarships from the American University District Scholars Award and the GWU Trachtenberg Scholarship.
