2025/2026 Lewis Ewart Lewis Physiotherapy Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Lewis Ewart Lewis Physiotherapy Scholarship:
- The scholarship application is open to Australian citizen or permanent resident and New Zealand permanent resident.
- Applicants must be enrolled at the University of Newcastle and must be in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of Bachelor of Physiotherapy.
- Applicants must have a GPA 5.0 for their academic achievements or higher in your current program.
- Applicants with one of the following are eligible for the scholarship such as financial hardship, sole parent responsibilities, ongoing effect of abuse, long-term medical conditions, regional or remote disadvantage, and a disability.
- Applicants who are in a placement with an out-of-home care provider, a refugee background, and an Indigenous Australian will be considered applicants for the Equity scholarships.
- Applicants must be a permanent resident of Australia and New Zealand or a citizen of Australia.
- Applicants must not hold any other scholarship such as sponsored or donor-funded at the University of Newcastle.
