2025/2026 James Alan Cox Student Photojournalism Scholarships Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 James Alan Cox Student Photojournalism Scholarships:
- The scholarship application is open to U.S. citizen student.
- The scholarship is open to applicants who have completed at least 1 year of their undergraduate and graduate program at an accredited college or university or professional school to study photography or photojournalism.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades.
- It is essential for applicants to have at least 1 semester of school remaining.
- Applicants will be required to demonstrate their financial need during the selection process.
- Applicant must submit 2 videos up to 3 minutes in length or either 5 images as digital still photography entries.
Scholarship Benefit
- 5 technical school or college students will be awarded $2,500 payable to their school (4 award for video work and 1 for still photography).
- 1 graduate student will be awarded $2,500 payable to their school for video work.
- 5 high school students will be awarded Digital SLR Cameras for still photographs.
