Application for the 2025/2026 Conerto High School Musicians Scholarship is open to U.S. citizen or permanent resident students who are high school musician that want to continue their undergraduate degree program in the United States. The scholarship is sponsored by the United States Marine Band and Marine Corps Heritage Foundation to provide financial assistance to applicants who seek help to further their education. 2025/2026 Conerto High School Musicians Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Conerto High School Musicians Scholarship:

  • The scholarship application is open to U.S. citizen or permanent resident students who are high school musician.
  • Applicants must be a student of Conerto High School.
  • Applicants must be between 9 and 12 grades enrolled during the 2025/2026 academic year.
  • Applicants who are harp, piano, and string players are eligible to apply for the scholarship while percussion, brass, and woodwind players are eligible to apply for the 2026 competition.
  • Applicants who are previous winner of the scholarship competition and immediate family members of former or current U.S. Marine Band members are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.

2025/2026 Conerto High School Musicians Scholarship Application process

To apply for the 2025/2026 Conerto High School Musicians Scholarship, applicants must follow these steps:

Applicants can apply for the scholarship through the online application, and it consists of two part which are performance recording and the online application form.

  • Applicants must select ONE work from the repertoire list and submit an unedited recoding of their performance accompanied by piano, band or orchestra.
  • Recordings must be submitted in the form of a YouTube Video. The application form cannot be completed without a link to the video.
  • When posting to YouTube, applicants may also designate the videos as “unlisted”, meaning it is viewable only by people who have the direct link. If desired, the applicants can choose not to be visible in the video.
  • Applicants must provide all the required documents that are needed for the scholarship before the deadline date.
