2025/2026 CIA Undergraduate Scholarship Program Eligibility Criteria

The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 CIA Undergraduate Scholarship Program:

  • The scholarship application is open to U.S. students who have graduated from high school.
  • Applicants who are current students, bachelor’s degree, or high school diploma or GED are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years or older when applying for the scholarship.
  • Applicants will be required to demonstrate their financial need by the adjusted gross annual household income (AGI) ceiling up to $120,000.
  • If applicants have not been listed as a dependent for the previous tax year, the AGI ceiling is up to $50,000.
  • Applicants who are accepted into the Stokes Scholarship Program will accept the Stokes Scholarship fund and sign a Continued Service Agreement that obligates the applicants to work at the CIA for 1.5 years every time they are in the Stokes Scholarship Program.
  • Applicants must work as a full-time for 12 weeks each summer in the WMA until graduation.
  • Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 score out of 4.0 scale.
  • Applicants must be a full-time student and maintain a 9 credit hours for graduate programs and 12 credit hours for undergraduate programs.
  • It is essential for applicants to continue to major in the study program that align with the occupation for which they are admitted.
  • Applicants must provide their transcripts for each semester completion within 30 days.
  • Applicants must ensure their meet the minimum requirements for joining the CIA and must be a citizen and a background investigation.

  • Applicants can apply for the scholarship through the online application link provided below.
  • Applicants must provide all the required documents that are needed for the scholarship such a completed Stokes Scholarship form, proof of citizenship, resume, a copy of 1040 tax form from previous tax year, current transcripts for high school seniors or current undergraduate transcripts or graduate transcripts, and personal information before the deadline date.
  • Selection of qualified applicants will be based on their academic excellence in core subjects relating to college major or desired major, relevant practical or job experience in their field of interest, leadership qualities, genuine interest in contributing to CIA’s mission, and proficiency in a foreign language.
