2025/2026 NMFA Military Spouse Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 NMFA Military Spouse Scholarship:
- The scholarship application is open to U.S. students who are spouses of all 8 Uniformed Services such as NOAA, Coast Guard and Commissioned Corps of the USPHS, Space Force, Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, and Army.
- The Service member of the spouse must have served post 9/11/2002 and meet any of the requirements below such as Fallen Service Member, Reservist, Guardsman, 100% Disable Veteran, Retiree including medically retired, and Active-Duty Service member, or you are a 20/20/20 spouse.
- The Service member of the spouse must have or be eligible to hold a valid Uniformed or Military Service ID.
- Spouse who are board members, employees or NMFA volunteers are not eligible to apply for the scholarship award.
- The scholarship does not require minimum GPA or full-time status requirements.
