The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Catherine Southwell-Keely Travel Grant:
The scholarship application is open to international and local students who want to undertake research in the archaeology of Egypt, Cyprus or Western Asia.
Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades.
Applicants must be an honour or higher degree student or a post-doctoral early career researcher and be part of an Australian or New Zealand University as a student, researcher, tutor, research assistance or affiliate, or have held such a position within the last ten years.
The scholarship is for applicants applying for a specific research project funding that covers expenses and support which can be planned for prior to spending.
Applicants will be given preference for experiencing financial disadvantage.
