2025/2026 Delta Electricity Scholarship


Application for the 2025/2026 Delta Electricity Scholarship at the University of Newcastle is open to interested applicants who wish to continue their undergraduate studies. The scholarship is sponsored by the Delta Electricity to provide financial aid to outstanding students with good academic grades who study or reside in the Central Coast LGA. This is a competitive scholarship with a value of $5000 and a limited number of 1 award given to qualified student.

2025/2026 Delta Electricity Scholarship Qualification

The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Delta Electricity Scholarship:

  • Applicant must be enrolled into any of the following program such as Mechatronics and Chemical Engineering programs, E&E, Mechanical, Environmental, Business B, and Environmental Science B.
  • Applicants must study on the Central Coast or Central Coast Local Government (LGA) resident. 
  • Applicants must achieve a 6.0 GPA for continuing students or Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) or higher for commencing students or equivalent of 95.
  • Applicants must be a New Zealand Permanent Residents or Australian Permanent Residence or an Australian citizen.
  • Applicants must not hold any concurrent sponsored scholarship or a recipient of a donor-funded scholarship at the University of Newcastle.

2025/2026 Delta Electricity Scholarship Application process

In order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Delta Electricity Scholarship:

  • Applicants must submit all necessary documents in a PDF file maximum of 3 and must be smaller than 5 MB at the application portal. 
  • During the registration on the application portal, all the required documents will be listed on the ‘Your Documents’. 
  • A 1 A4 page personal statement detailing your academic achievements, how the scholarship can help, career aspiration in your area of study. 
  • Applicants from the UON students are not required to submit transcripts also CV or portfolio, academic competitions, participating in internships or travel programs and awards should be demonstrated as your academic achievements on 3 documents.
