2025/2026 Spirit of Giving Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Spirit of Giving Scholarship:
- The scholarship application is open to U.S. students who are current college students or high school seniors.
- Applicants must be enrolling in the following school year into an accredited college or university for a post-secondary education.
- Applicants who are family members or an employee of Wine Country Gift Baskets or Houdini Inc are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Applicants who are a previous winner of this scholarship are not eligible to apply again.
2025/2026 Spirit of Giving Scholarship Application process
In order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Spirit of Giving Scholarship, applicants must follow these steps:

- Applicants must submit all the required documents that are needed for the scholarship before the deadline date including a copy of the acceptance letter in PDF, .doc, .docx format and subject line as Scholarship or Spirit of Giving to this email scholarship@winecountrygiftbaskets.com.
Applicants must write an essay between 500–700 words on one of the following topics, such as:
- How will your college or post-secondary education allow you to be of service to others or give to others?
- How has the spirit of giving affected you personally?
- How have you advanced the spirit of giving in your community or aboard, either through service or in giving?
