2025/2026 Judge Sidney M. Aronovitz Memorial Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Judge Sidney M. Aronovitz Memorial Scholarship:
- The scholarship application is open to U.S. students who are high school senior graduating in Spring 2025.
- Applicants must be attending a Miami-Dade County Public school not older than 19 years of age as a GED student.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Applicants must be planning to enroll or pursue a career that is related to the legal field or social justice issues striving to ensure social fairness and equity in society and working on behalf of marginalized groups.
- The selection of qualified applicants will be done by the Scholarship Advisory Committee after evaluating the documents that are submitted by the applicants such as career and educational aspirations, community involvement and work experience or school and volunteer activities, letter of recommendation, academic achievement, financial need, and the desire to return to Miami-Dade County post-college to better the community.
