- The scholarship award is for applicants who are enrolled into Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine program and in their 2nd year at NC State University.
2025/2026 George H. Hitchings New Investigator Award in Health Research Application process
In order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 George H. Hitchings New Investigator Award in Health Research, applicants should follow these steps:
- Applicants can apply for the scholarship application using the Foundation’s online application portal.
- Applicants are required to use the access code “Hitchings” to access the scholarship application by typing it into the upper right hand box.
- Applicants must use the following fonts type to apply for the scholarship singled spaced using 12 point font on standard 8.5 by 11 inch paper with one inch or larger margins on all sides.
