2025/2026 Four Directions Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Four Directions Scholarship:
- The scholarship application is open to U.S. students who are citizen of a federally or state recognized tribe and are in their first year undergraduate degree.
- Applicants are required to demonstrate their financial need by filling their CSS profile and the FAFSA application form.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades with a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Qualified applicants will be required to have at least 4 meetings in mentorship program, meeting with mentor, academic advisor each semester, and per semester meeting with the program administrator in the center for connected culture.
2025/2026 Four Directions Scholarship Application process
In order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Four Directions Scholarship, applicants should follow these steps:
- Applicants can apply for the scholarship application through the provided link below and can find information behind the MyTCUPortal.
- Applicants will be required to provide the necessary information and materials that are needed for the scholarship such as recommendation letters from a community member or tribal leader, and verification photo of their citizenship or membership.
- Applicants must write two essays not more than 500 words on describing and giving examples of their connection to and participation with their nation and culture, and Tell us how their hope to use their TCU education to contribute to their nation or other Native American peoples and communities.
