2025/2026 Minuteman Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Minuteman Scholarship:
- The scholarship application is open to U.S. citizen or U.S. National who are had test and physically qualified but not sworn in or currently in the Army Reserve.
- Applicants are required to find an eligible ROTC program that fits their career and apply for at goarmy.com.
- The age requirement for applicants is between 17 and 28 years.
- Before the commissioning by 31 December, applicants can not turn 31.
- Applicants are required to be able to complete a valid Chapter 2 MEPS physical for enlistment and pass the Army Combat Fitness Test.
- Applicants must abide with AR 600-9 body composition standards.
- Applicants are required to have a minimum GPA of 2.5, official transcripts from the college or university, and acceptance letter while 4 years applicants must have SAT/ACT test scores.
- It is essential for applicants to be able to participate in Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP).
- Applicants who are commissioned must complete an 8-year service obligation while actively drilling at a unit.

Scholarships Type
- 4 year ROTC program award to recipient who will attend a public or state university as incoming college freshmen.
- 3 year Advanced Designee (3AD) ROTC program award to recipients who will attend a private, public or state university beginning of their sophomore year if they meet the eligibility requirements.
