2025/2026 Legacy of Leadership Scholarship Qualification
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the Legacy of Leadership Scholarship:
- The scholarship is met for high school seniors or post-high school program.
- The applicants must be a current 4-H member.
- The participation requirements for the 4-H member are a minimum of 5 years.
- The selection committee and the 4-H State office are the responsible for choosing qualified applicants.
2025/2026 Legacy of Leadership Scholarship Application process
In order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Legacy of Leadership Scholarship, applicants must follow these steps:
- Applicants must complete the online application by provide the necessary information and documents.
- The application form includes questions that need to be answered by the applicants in not more than 4 pages.
- Two recommendation letters must be provided by the applicants, one from the Extension staff member of the University of Illinois or 4-H volunteer while the second letter should come a community individual or college or high school staff member.
- The recommendation letters must be sealed in an envelope with the applicants signature at the front and the recommendation individual at the back.
- The 4-H enrollment verification should be completed including the personal information of individuals that provided the recommendation letters.
- Education official transcripts must be provided also.
