Application for the 2025/2026 Homer Williams Scholarship is open to U.S. citizen who are members of 4-H who wish to continue their undergraduate degree program in the United States. The scholarship is sponsored by Fresno County 4-H to provide financial assistance to applicants who seek help to further their education. 2025/2026 Homer Williams Scholarship Qualification
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Homer Williams Scholarship:
- Applicants must be in a good standing as a member of 4-H.
- The scholarship application is open to seniors in Fresno County High Schools.
- Applicants must be enrolled or accepted into any of the accredited institution such as Technical or Trade School, University, College or Jr. College.
- The following materials must be submitted such as copy of award letter, proof of enrollment in the First quarter or semester in school in order to be awarded the scholarship.
2025/2026 Homer Williams Scholarship Application process
In order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Homer Williams Scholarship, applicants must follow these steps:
- Applicants will be required to choose their course of study and base on their 4-H participation, they will be considered for the scholarship.
- Applicants must write an essay of 3 to 4 pages of double-spaced using a regular 12-point font with details on their community or citizenship service experiences, leadership experiences, 4-H project experiences, and how 4-H affected their career goals.
- Applicants will be required to provide a letter of recommendation from a 4-H leader which must be sealed and signed across the flap by the writer.
- Applicants must submit all the materials and the complete scholarship application form.
