The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Michael J. Roche, Jr. Memorial Scholarship:
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades.
- Applicants must be a graduates or seniors of Nantucket High School.
- The scholarship is open to applicants studying one of the following field of study such as Ecology, Plant Biology, Forestry, Captive Wildlife Care, Marine Science, Animal Health & Behavior, Wildlife Management & Conservation, and Environmental Science.
- Applicants who are attending Unity Environmental University in Maine, Michael’s alma mater will be given special consideration.
- Applicants must have a good GPA.
