2025/2026 New Inbound International Students Scholarship Pilot Plan

Application for the 2025/2026 New Inbound International Students Scholarship Pilot Plan at the National Chengchi University is open to interested applicants who wish to continue their study in Taiwan. The scholarship is competitive with a limited number of award given to students who seek financial aid for undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. degree.

2025/2026 New Inbound International Students Scholarship Pilot Plan Qualification

The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 New Inbound International Students Scholarship Pilot Plan: 

  • Applicants without any other scholarships are eligible for the scholarship as new international students.
  • Every year during April and December at OIC, applicants are nominated through programs and departments.
  • Applicants with full scholarships are excluded from the scholarships while applicants with more than one semester at the NCCU can apply for the scholarships.
  • Applicants are excluded from the scholarship if they are currently enrolled at another college or university in Taiwan.
  • Applicants who are pursuing a higher degree or graduating from a Master’s or Bachelor’s program.
  • Applicants who already has a duplicated degree of the same program.

Scholarship Benefits

  • Living expenses of NT$10,000 monthly and flight tickets to Taiwan.
  • NT$ 30,000 per academic year for roundtrip tickets for scholarship.

2025/2026 New Inbound International Students Scholarship Pilot Plan Application process

In order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 New Inbound International Students Scholarship Pilot Plan, applicants must follow these steps:

Applicants who are interested in the scholarship can apply from Februray 1 to March 31 through the Contact the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in your home country. Applicants can apply through the Taiwan ICDF scholarship programs. The required documents must be submitted by the applicants including proof of employment. This is the scholarship application form for African or South Asia and Southeast international students.
