The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2026/2027 Bernard Kilgore Memorial Scholarship:
- The scholarship application is open to U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or international female students.
- Candidates who are residents of any country are eligible to apply for the scholarship award.
- The scholarship is for female graduating high school senior or college undergraduate students that want to continue their studies in engineering, math, or biological or physical sciences.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades.
- Applicants must be enrolled or plan to attend an accredited college or university as a full-time undergraduate students to study engineering, math, or physical, or biological sciences for the 2026/2027 academic year as a sophomore, junior, or senior students.
- Recipient of the award or previous applicants may apply again for the award but must write on a different topic than their previous entry.
- Candidates cannot have previously been awarded a bachelor’s degree in any subject.
