2026/2027 Seabee Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2026/2027 Seabee Scholarship:
- The scholarship application is open to U.S. citizen or permanent resident students in the United States.
- The scholarship is for applicants that are high school senior or as a freshman entering college for the first time.
- The scholarship is open to applicants whose parent or grandparent have served with the Naval Construction Force.
- Applicants whose parent or grandparent are officers of the Civil Engineer Corps or currently serving in a Naval Construction Force Unity, including members from other service branches assigned to a Seabee unit are eligible to apply for the scholarship also.
- Honorably discharged Seabee children, grandchildren, active duty, reserve, and retired personnel of the Naval Construction Force Unity are eligible to apply for the scholarship also.
- The age requirements for the scholarship for applicants must be under the age of 23 years old.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades.
- Applicants must be enrolled or plan to attend an accredited college or university to be eligible for the scholarship.
- Applicants that are step-children or step-grandchildren will be required to provide proof of relationship to their qualifying military parent.
