2025/2026 William S Guttenberg ’44 Endowed Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 William S Guttenberg ’44 Endowed Scholarship at the New Jersey Institute of Technology:
- The scholarship application is open to U.S. citizen or permanent resident students.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades.
- First priority are given to physically challenged students who are from New Jersey.
- Second priority are given to students who are from Paterson New Jersey or inner-city high school or Kennedy High School preferably from Eastside.
- Tertiary recipients are given to the September 11 terrorist attack to students who lost a parent.
- Applicants are considered for the scholarships if no eligible student is found who meets the first three priority, students of Honor’s College or inner-city high schools who participate in the Educational Opportunity Program.
