2025/2026 UQ Firebirds Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 UQ Firebirds Scholarship:
- The scholarship application is open to international and local students who are undergraduate students.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades.

- Applicants must be enrolled or plan to attend the university as an undergraduate full-time student in an approved program.
- Applicants will be required to demonstrate that you have played netball for school or a club, or contributed to the sport of netball through coaching or volunteering within the 2-year period before the year of the award.
- Preference will be given to applicants who are Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person who are from a regional, rural, or remote area and are first in their family.
- Applicants must demonstrate their financial hardship by providing documentary evidence.
