2025/2026 GNPC Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 GNPC Scholarship:
Local Scholarship for Undergraduate Admission Requirements.
- Applicants must be a Ghana citizen and undergraduate student as a freshman.
- Applicants must be enrolled at any GTEC accredited Tertiary Institution in Ghana either as an undergraduate or postgraduate degree program.
- Applicants who are first year students and continuing students must meet the eligibility criteria of the scholarship and must be in any accredited public tertiary institution in Ghana.
- Candidate must not hold any other scholarship.
- It is essential for applicants to pass the 3 core subjects and 3 relevant electives making a total of 6 credit passes in their WASSCE/SSSCE.
- Candidate who are continuing students must maintain a GPA of 2.0 score to be eligible for the scholarship.
- Applicants who are HND students will have their qualification approved by the National Accreditation Board and determined by the institution.
Local Scholarship for Postgraduate Admission Requirements
- Applicants must be a Ghana citizen and enrolled at any accredited Ghana tertiary institution to study a postgraduate degree program.
- It is essential for applicants to have at least Second Class Lower Division in the first degree.
- The conditions of selecting qualified applicants may be influenced by the regional distribution, needs assessment, STEM/NON-STEM or disability.
- Those pursuing programs to build their capacity professionally.
Foreign Scholarship Admission Requirements
- Applicants must provide their admission letter, CV, passport picture, National Service Certificate, research proposal/thesis for PhD students only, academic and occupational recommendation letters, and first and second degree certificates (master’s and PhD).
Foreign Scholarship Postgraduate Admission Requirements.
- Applicants must be a Ghana citizen and enrolled to a master’s or PhD degree program at any foreign tertiary institution.
- Applicants must have at least a minimum second class lower for Master’s students and relevant postgraduate qualification for PhD students.
- Applicants must be studying any of the STEM courses and special needs programs.
- Preference will be given to students enrolled at a tuition-free universities or lecturers at public tertiary institutions or persons with disabilities.
