The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Global Citizen Scholarship MPOWER:
- The scholarship application is open to international and DACA students.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades.
- Applicants who are international students in the United States must be allowed to legally study and meet one of these criteria: has a valid visa that permits study in the United States, is a U.S. permanent resident (Green Card Holder) or is protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
- Applicants who are international students in Canada must be allowed to legally study and meet one of these criteria: has a valid Canadian study permit or Is a Canadian permanent resident.
