2025/2026 11-99 Foundation Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 11-99 Foundation Scholarship:
- The scholarship is open to U.S. students who have graduated from high school by June of the academic year.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades, with a minimum GPA of 2.8 score or higher.
- Applicants must be enrolled or plan to attend an accredited college, university, trade or technical school as an undergraduate student.
- Applicants who are legal dependents of active or retired living CHP employees either uniformed or non-uniformed such as sons, steps-sons, daughters, step-daughters or other non-spouse are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Students who are not legal dependents of a CHP employee or retiree or active or retired CHP employees or spouses/partners of active or retired CHP employees are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Students who are enrolled or plan to attend an accredited college as graduate student or higher are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- The scholarship is non-renewable for qualified applicants but must re-apply each year if eligible.
