2025/2026 Regeneron Science Talent Search Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Regeneron Science Talent Search:
- The scholarship application is open to U.S. graduating students in their last year of secondary school in the United States and its territories.
- Applicants who are U.S. citizens living in another country are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Applicants who are not U.S. citizens but attending American school abroad are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades.
- Applicants who have completed team research are not eligible to apply for the scholarship, but only independent or individual research applicants are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Applicants who have worked with scientist mentors or college students are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Applicants who are homeschooled students are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Applicants may perform their STS research in any sort of environment, including paid and unpaid research programs.
