2025/2026 American Indian Services (AIS) Scholarship Program Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 American Indian Services (AIS) Scholarship Program:
- The scholarship application is open to incoming freshmen who plan to enroll or are enrolled into any accredited college or university or technical school or junior college in the United States.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades, with a minimum GPA of 2.25 score after their first semester or quarter of college.
- Applicants who are descendants of base roll member or are enrolled members of a U.S. Federally Recognized American Indian or Alaska Native Tribe.
- The scholarship is open to undergraduate students who are pursing their first bachelor’s degree with no more than 150 semester credits or 210 quarter credits.
- Applicants can either be a part-time or full-time students with a minimum of 6 credits excluding non-credit courses.
- Applicants must demonstrate their financial need and complete the FAFSA requirements when applying for the scholarship.
