2025/2026 RAREis Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 RAREis Scholarship:
- The scholarship application is open to U.S. students who are resident of the United States and diagnosed with a rare disease.
- The scholarship application is open to graduate students, undergraduate students and high school senior.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades.
- The age requirements for the applicants must be 17 years or older when applying for the scholarship.
- Applicants who are seeking graduate degree, bachelor’s degree, associate degree or professional certification are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Applicants must be planning to enroll or accepted into an accredited college or university to study as a full-time or part-time student.
- Applicants will be required to demonstrate their financial need when applying for the scholarship.
2025/2026 RAREis Scholarship Application process
In order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 RAREis Scholarship, applicants must follow these steps:
- Applicants can apply for the scholarship through the online application link provided below by creating a scholarship American profile account.
- Applicants must write an essay not more than 2000 characters on reflecting on your own journey or what you have observed in others, what do you believe is the most overlooked challenge in the rare disease community, and how do you think it could be addressed?.
- Applicants must provide all the required documents that are needed for the scholarship such as personal information, transcripts, essay, completed Diagnosis verification form and grades.
