2025/2026 Lyons Aviation Foundation Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Lyons Aviation Foundation Scholarship:
- The scholarship application is open to U.S. students who are citizen or legal permanent resident.
- The age requirements for the scholarship are between 16 and 24 years before the deadline date.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades.
- Applicants must not be charged or convicted of any felonies or misdemeanors and must be of good mora character.
- For the FAA standards, applicants must be able to write, speak, and read English.
- Applicants must obtain a Third Class medical FAA certificate.
- Before any flight training being, recipients of the scholarship award must sign a Release of Liability form.
- The selection of recipients of the scholarship is done by The Lyons Aviation Foundation.
