2025/2026 Jimmy Rane Foundation Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Jimmy Rane Foundation Scholarship:
- The scholarship application is open to U.S. students who are citizen or permanent resident.
- The scholarship is open to college students and graduating high school seniors.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades with a minimum GPA of 2.75 for college applicants and 3.0 for graduating high school seniors.
- Applicants who are interested in applying for the scholarship must be a resident of one of the following states such as West Virginia, Virginia, Texas, Tennessee, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Ohio, North Carolina, New York, New Jersey, Nebraska, Missouri, Mississippi, Maryland, Louisiana, Kentucky, Kansas, Iowa, Indiana, Illinois, Georgia, Florida, Delaware, Arkansas, Alabama, or District of Columbia.
- Applicants who are interested in online or distance learning courses are eligible to apply for the scholarship if only the course is available online or through distance learning if the required curriculum is taught in the campus environment.
- Applicants are required to demonstrate the following skills such as leadership, community involvement, awards, honors, and financial need.
- Applicants who are sophomore or college freshman must not be older than 20 years of age as of August 1, 2026 on a full-time study program towards a bachelor’s degree.
- Applicants who are high school senior must plan to attend college in Fall after graduation in the Spring or Summer of 2026.
- Applicants who are immediate family members or living in the same household of subsidiaries, affiliates, parents, incorporated, and employees of Great Southern Wood Preserving are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
