2025/2026 Chinese Government Scholarship Type A – Bilateral Program Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Chinese Government Scholarship Type A – Bilateral Program:
- The scholarship application is open to international students who are non-Chinese citizens who are in good mental and physical health with a valid passport.
- Applicants who are applying for the undergraduate scholarship program must be under the age of 25 years and must have a high school diploma.
- Applicants who are applying for the master’s degree program must be under the age of 30 years and must have a Bachelor’s degree.
- Applicants who are applying for the Doctoral program must be under the age or 40 years and must have a Master’s degree.
- Applicants who are applying for the senior scholar program must be under the age of 50 years and must have a master’s degree or an associate professor.
- Applicants are required to provide their language proficiency requirements when applying for the Chinese-taught senior scholar program, general scholar, and undergraduate program.
- Applicants are required to provide their English language proficiency test score for English-taught scholarship.
2025/2026 Chinese Government Scholarship Type A – Bilateral Program Application process
In order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Chinese Government Scholarship Type A – Bilateral Program, applicants must follow these steps:
- Applicants can apply for the scholarship through the online application link here.
- Applicants must provide the required documents that are needed for the scholarship such as information page of ordinary passport, notarized highest diploma, academic transcripts, a study plan proposal, language qualification certificates, recommendation letters, non-criminal record report, foreigner physical examination form and attachments, and example of art.
