2025/2026 Alexander Rutherford Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Alexander Rutherford Scholarship:
- The scholarship application is open to Canada students who are citizens or permanent resident or protected person in Canada under the immigration and refugee protection act.
- Applicants must be a resident of Alberta when applying for the scholarship.
- Applicants who are visa students are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades.
- The scholarship is open met for applicants whose legal guardian or parent(s) have been a resident of Alberta throughout the whole of the applicants grade.
- Applicants must have complete high school on or after 30 September 1980.
- Applicants who are graduate students and professional programs are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
