2025/2026 AIA Central Valley/John Ellis Architectural Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 AIA Central Valley/John Ellis Architectural Scholarship:

  • The scholarship application is open to U.S. students who are adult re-entry student, graduate student, undergraduate students, and high school senior.
  • Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades, with a minimum GPA of 3.5 score on a 4.0 scale.
  • Applicants must be currently attending or have attended one of the following counties such as Yuba, Yolo, Tehama, Sutter, Sierra, Shasta, Sacramento, Plumas, Placer, Nevada, Lassen, Glenn, El Dorado, Colusa, Butte, Amador, and Alpine.
  • Applicants must be enrolling or accepted into an accredited community college or university or 4 year college in Fall to study architecture.
  • Applicants must be a full-time students with 12 units or more is required during the academic year.
  • Applicants who are attending a Community College will be given preference.
