2025/2026 UFCW Charity Foundation Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 UFCW Charity Foundation Scholarship:
- The scholarship application is open to applicants who UFCW member who has been active since 1 January 2024.
- Applicants who are under the age of 20 before May 25, 2025 are eligible to apply for the scholarship if they are children or dependents of active members.
- To receive the scholarship, applicants must complete and submit the scholarship application and the essay.
- The selection criteria will be based on community involvement, essay on understanding of the principles of the labor movement, and scholastic achievements.
- Before 25 May 2025, applicants must mail Part B form after completing the application online and their official grade transcripts to the scholarship committee to complete the UFCW Charity Foundation Scholarship Application Form.
- Recipients who are enrolled or accepted at an accredited college or university will receive an annual payment of $2,000 up to 4 years.
2025/2026 UFCW Charity Foundation Scholarship Application process
In order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 UFCW Charity Foundation Scholarship, applicants must follow these steps:
- Applicants must go through the procedures thoroughly to complete their application.
- Applicants must complete the scholarship application online before the deadline date and provide information on their family profile, work experience, school activities award, and complete an essay.
- Applicants who are not able to apply online can send their application to UFCW Charity Foundation, Attn: Scholarship Program, 1775 K St., NW, Washington, DC 20006.
- Applicants who are under the age of 18 and a parent must sign and date the application before submitting it to their high school officials to authorize the release of information authenticity.
- Applicants must give their application to their academic counselor to complete and mail it along with their grade transcript, proof of graduation, intent to graduate or receive your GED.
