Application for the 2025/2026 Master Mind Scholarships of the Government of Flanders is open to international and local students who wish to continue their postgraduate or Master’s degree program in Belgium. The scholarship is sponsored by the Government of Flanders to provide financial aid to applicants who seek help to further their education in the relevant study program. This is a competitive scholarship with a limited number of 20 award and a value of €10.000 given to the qualified applicants for the duration of the 2025/2026 Master Mind Scholarships.

2025/2026 Master Mind Scholarships Qualification
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Master Mind Scholarships:
- The scholarship duration is 1 year for 60 ECTS master’s programme and 2 year for 120 ECTS master’s programme.
- Qualified applicants will be given €10.000 each year.
- Qualified applicants who are studying for the 1-year Master programme and do not obtain their certificate before the end of the academic year will not be awarded their final installment of €1.500.
- Qualified applicants who are studying for the 2-year Master programme must obtain at least 54 ECTS in their first year in order to receive the final installment of €1.500 for the first year and be entitled to the scholarship in their second year.
- Students who receives a study grant from the Flemish government, will be asked for yearly tuition that equals to the applicant tuition fee when ask by the host institution.
- Qualified applicants will be asked to pay for the full tuition fee if they lose their scholarship and want to continue their study programme.
- Certain countries have some scholarships reserved for their students such as 5 for the USA, 2 for Palestine, 3 for Mexico, 3 for Japan.
- The scholarship award will be given to applicants with the highest by the Flemish selection committee if the scholarship is not taken up.
- The scholarship can not be combined with any other scholarships such as Erasmus Mundus Scholarship or Flemish government.
- Applicants will be required to fill in a short questionnaire and submit an essay about their mobility after completing the mobility.

2025/2026 Master Mind Scholarships Application process
- In order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Master Mind Scholarships, applicants must follow these steps:
- Applicants are required to check if they can participate in the Master Mind Scholarships by checking the Flemish institution of their choice and if they are eligible to apply.
- Before the deadline date, applicants must submit their scholarship application to their host institution.
- The application are preselected by the host institution.
- The Mobility-Online application tool is created to file applicants application when the host institution starts the application procedure.
- Applicants that are preselected for the Master Mind Scholarship will receive an email generated by the Mobility-Online tool.
- Before the deadline date, applicants must register and complete their application using the Mobility-Online tool and the required documents must be uploaded such as Passport photo, International passport or National ID, CV, Transcript of records either in English, German, French, Dutch, a certified translation must be closed.
- Letter of exemption provided by the host university or English language test results.
- English written Letter of motivation.
- Two signed letters of recommendation.
- Copy of acquired diplomas.
