2025/2026 Kenneth Freeman PhD Scholarship Qualification
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Kenneth Freeman PhD Scholarship:
- Applicants who are new, local, international, and returning students are eligible for the scholarship.
- Applicants must have equivalent requirements or demonstrated First class honours (H1).
- Applicants must be enrolled or enrolling at the ANU College of Science on a full-time study program based in the Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Astronomy and Astrophysics.
Scholarship Benefits
- Applicants are entitled to paid leave such as parental leave of 5 days partner, parental leave of 60 working days, additional medical leave of 60 working days, medical leave of 10 working days, and recreation leave of 20 working days.
- $3,000 per annum or max child $9,000 for international students child dependent allowance.
- $2,500 for international students and $1,000 for domestic student relocation reimbursement.
- $500 thesis allowance.
