2025/2026 City Cares: Sanctuary Scholarship Qualification
In order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 City Cares: Sanctuary Scholarship at the City, University of London:
- To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must be an asylum seeker, human rights application or some other form of temporary leave a result of an asylum or granted Discretionary Leave to Remain.
- Applicants must not be eligible for the Maintenance Loans from Student Finance England/SAAS/NI/Wales or Tuition Fee Loans as a direct result of their immigration status.
- Applicants must apply through UCAS for study program in University of London, City St George’s for an unconditional or conditional offer of full-time undergraduate program.
- Applicants must be a new student starting their first year of their degree program as a full-time entrant to City St George’s.
- Applicants must provide reference in support of their application from voluntary or community, college, school they are currently attending.
- Applicants must not hold any other scholarship in UK or other countries either on a postgraduate or undergraduate degree.
- Applicants must have the necessary documents in order to undertake clinical placements and participate in the course that required DBS check if they are applying for a programme that requires it.

- Applicants can submit their scholarship application after completing the steps.
