2025/2026 Chongqing University President Scholarship for International Students Qualification
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Chongqing University President Scholarship for International Students:
- Applicants must be an international student to be eligible for the scholarship.
- The scholarship date will not be extended as the program in Admission Notice and the duration of the scholarship is the same.
- Applicants admission qualification will be cancelled if pre-graduation certificate are submitted and the official degree diploma for registration if admitted are not submitted.
- Annual review will be taken place for recipients to enjoy the scholarship for the second year if they pass and if they fail the annual review the scholarship will be terminated.
- The scholarship registration should be done on time if applicants receive the scholarship grant notice and must confirm their acceptance of the scholarship with Chongqing University.
- Applicants admitted before 15th of the month will be given a full amount of monthly living stipend while applicants admitted after 15th of the month will be given a half amount of the monthly living stipend.
- Applicants are required to check their registered email regularly because scholarship results, application notify status, arrange interviews, updates on information will be sent to the applicants registered email regularly by the admission officer.
Scholarship Benefits
- First-Class Scholarship: Exempt from tuition fee, free on-campus accommodation or 700RMB per month for off-campus accommodation subsidy, medical insurance, monthly living allowance of 1,500RMB per month for bachelor’s degree students, 1,800RMB per month for Master’s degree, 2,200RMB per month for Ph.D students.
- Second-class Scholarship: Exempt from tuition fee.
- Third-class Scholarship: Exempt from 50% tuition fee.
