2025/2026 NC Diversity & Equity in Emergency Medicine Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 NC Diversity & Equity in Emergency Medicine Scholarship:
- The scholarship application is open to U.S. students who are in their first year of a PA program or second year of an DO program or MD program.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades.
- Applicants must be enrolled or studying in one of the following states such as Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
- Based on the UNC system definition, applicants must identify their selves as an underrepresented minority in the medical field.
- The scholarship is open to applicants who will like to practice their medicine in North Carolina or be a resident of North Carolina after completion of their study program.
- Applicants who are specializing in emergency medicine will be given preference.
