2025/2026 Dr. James Watson Fellowship Program Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Dr. James Watson Fellowship Program:
- The scholarship application is open to U.S. students and international students.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades.
- Applicants must be enrolled in a turfgrass science program or related field at an accredited college or university studying a graduate program and in their second year.
- Applicants who are in their master’s degrees or doctorates in appropriate fields of study are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
- Applicants must plan to pursue a career in extension, instruction, or research in a university setting.
