The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 A. W. “Dub” and B. J. Riter, Jr. Presidential Honors Scholarship:
- The scholarship application is open to U.S. students who are high school senior and resident of the United States.
- Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades, with a minimum GPA of 3.5 and any one of the following such as ACT 26 with a minimum of 18 on both English and Math subtest, minimum overall SAT old score of 1200 with minimum 500 on Math and Reading subtest, minimum SAT new evidence-based reading and writing score of 650, minimum SAT Math score of 620.
- Applicants must be enrolled or plan to attend Tyler Junior College as a full-time student who are seeking a bachelor’s degree or associate degree or professional certification.
- Applicants must demonstrate their leadership skills, community service, and extracurricular activities.
