2025/2026 Hensall Co-op Bright Futures Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The following requirements must be met by the applicants in order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Hensall Co-op Bright Futures Scholarship:

  • The scholarship is open to Canada students who are an employee as of the day of application or had a controlling interest in an entity that was a member as of 1 March 2022 or children or grandchildren of member of Hensall Co-op as of 1 March 2022.
  • Applicants must have excellent academic performance and good grades.
  • Applicants must plan to enroll or accepted into an accredited college or university in Canada.
  • Applicants must be planning or studying as a full-time student.
  • Applicants must be studying a trade or in a field that will advance rural communities and economies or majoring in agriculture.
  • Qualified applicants will be required to provide proof of acceptance to an accredited institution in Canada in order to receive provided by Hensall Co-op.

2025/2026 Hensall Co-op Bright Futures Scholarship Application process

In order to be eligible for the 2025/2026 Hensall Co-op Bright Futures Scholarship, applicants must follow these steps:

  • Applicants can apply for the scholarship through the online application link provided below.
  • Applicants must provide the required documents that are needed for the scholarship official high school transcrip and complete application form before the deadline date.
  • Applicants must write an essay not more than 500 words on how you plan to use your education to support Canadian agriculture or rural communities and their economies as well as how you have supported your community in the past including details of your qualifications, educational and career goals.
  • The selection of qualified applicants will be based on the student essay, academic standing, interest in a field of study, and previous work experience with the community that support agriculture, rural economies or communities.
  • All file must be submitted in PDF file and mailed to this email marketing@hdc.on.ca.
